University Transfer
Receive credit and recognition for the work you’ve completed at your community college while moving on to a four-year institution through our collaborative administrative efforts.
Your Path to Academic Success Starts with the NC Community College System
Within the NC Community College System, your academic journey begins with the Associate in Arts (AA) or Associate in Science (AS) degree programs. These programs make transferring to four-year institutions more accessible, more efficient and more affordable than any other path.

How We Support Your Academic Journey
Transfer Guides
We work with the UNC System to create pathways into North Carolina four-year institutions that recognize and accept the work you have already completed. Transfer Guides aren’t in place for all majors at every institution, but they make the process more efficient and help you satisfy prerequisites in common majors.
